Tonight we reached the Dominican Republic coast. At sunset we saw 1 white flash every 10 seconde on port side, this is the isla Saona´s light house period, each light house have his particular timing, no mistake possible. The dead recognizing navigation was good, we are were we want to be. A nice way of life is´t it? We cross south to north the Caribbean sea in two days, a real rum runner, a windjammer, an average of 8 knots without engine.
Now we are tacking up and down, waiting the day light to drop the anchor, prepare the Tres Hombres good sailing ship to enter the harbor of Boca Chica, on the south coast. 22 barrels of rum and many tons of cacao are waiting for us, heavy work ahead to fit in the cargo hold.
