After a rough ride towards the English coast yesterday we had a very nice dinner in a smooth Lyme Bay, celebrating the longest day of the year, the seaman’s Sunday and a nice voyage with wines from 3 different countries…
Now we head close hauled towards the Atlantic edge of Bretagne, waiting for some NW winds and some sunshine after the depression..

Wonderful progress towards west yesterday. The front is passing now with rain and the wind died. We brailed up the main and braced square. It is the trimming for waiting for any kind of wind. The ship is heading north but drifts east. We can only try to drift slower what we don’t want now […]
