Fresh sugarcane juice, never-ending sunshine and ancient working methods allow this exceptional agricole rhum to shine in the Tres Hombres line. A PX and a MOSCATEL barrel rounded up this spirit, in the water because we swim the barrels to the ship and in the ship itself of course.
Each bottle is lavishly decorated with motifs from the Tres Hombres and their travels. The design with the small handle is reminiscent of old, maritime times. Closed with a natural cork and sealed with beeswax. Each variety has its own color. To achieve this, the wax is mixed with colour pigments that are ground from natural raw materials in a traditional windmill in Zaandam.
As soon as the cork is opened, the aroma flows into the room. The rum flows mahogany-colored into the glass and lets the time run down inside the glass.
The nose is a bit sweet, the peaty taste is easily recognizable, salty caramel.
By the way, the chocolate from Tres Hombres with 75% cocoa is a great companion for this rum.
