During a stopover in the Azores, Captain Andreas discovered this beautiful white wine, the Vinho Branco Ameixâmbar Acores, and was immediately intrigued. With care and enthusiasm he loaded this special find on board our ship, with the aim of sharing this delicious wine with you as soon as we return to the Netherlands.
This delicious white wine from winemakers Alberto Antonini and Cátia Laranjo is made from the Arinto dos Açore and Terrantez do Pico grapes. After a refined maturation of 4 months in oak barrels, the wine has developed a subtle bouquet. The aroma includes seductive notes of lime, peach, pepper, marmalade, butter and a gentle pinch of salt. The taste offers a long-lasting experience that will pamper your senses.
This excellent table wine reaches its full potential at an ideal serving temperature of 12º. Be quick though, because our range of this wine is limited and it's an opportunity you don't want to miss.
