Objective and activities to be carried out: a. to carry out, promote, stimulate and support sailing merchant shipping, in particular the ships served by Fairtransport Shipping, and in this context to carry out research into transport options, trade routes, sales areas and other elements for the benefit of sailing merchant shipping, all this in the broadest sense of the word b. training aspiring sailors and/or craftsmen to become responsible, motivated, balanced and skilled global citizens c. developing accompanying lesson programs and setting up training facilities to promote the aforementioned under b d. organizing a platform “community” that has donors and members e. organizing, collecting and maintaining information and services for under b. mentioned target group. f. Furthermore, everything that is directly or indirectly related to something or that can be conducive to this, everything in the broadest sense of the word.

The management and expenditure of the institution's assets
The incoming donations and membership contributions are placed in a separate bank account of the Fairtransport Foundation. The Foundation's board meets regularly to determine whether sufficient assets have been built up that can be spent within the objectives and policy intentions.
