Tres Hombres

For more than 10 minutes (By captain Anne-Flore Gannat)

A day and a half after departure.

A kind of day where we are starting to get confused already since how long are we onboard or which day it is. First days of sailing with the new crew except for Joel and Merlijne who wanted to enjoy a piece of life at Tres Hombres travel station a bit longer.

Sun to start and be trained, rain and wind to continue our journey straighter.

Our vessel is going horizontally on the paper chart. It is a journey that lasts longer than 10 minutes, I promise. Even if it would be just for a visit in a harbor, you will get stars in your eyes and pictures will come into your creative brain by thinking of how those sails, hull, and your partners are moving all in once. You don't need to be the son of… to step on this ship.
Your hard seamanship will give a natural personal glory well served! The environment will make you strong and provide you with a unique taste of life. A certain primitive way, which still not enough humans believe that they can do it, and dare to experience and experience our own nature. The infinite horizon extends imaginary on a boat to share inspirations.

Why do few humans want to be lashed on a seat, be thrown into space for a few million dollars, and come back as pioneers?

Why not take the time to experience the trip on Tres Hombres and print the history in your body in reality?

Few millions to build an eco-clipper (the “XXL Tres Hombres”) can give a rational living to many locals producers, entrepreneurs, seafarers … for many years.

Few millions for millions of kids who need to discover who they are, and become who they want to be before being asked what you want to do now? They will do what makes sense for themselves and their surroundings, not what is convenient to do!

We saw dolphins and tunas jumping around, chasing each other. Few birds, fishing boats, tankers. It is already right on board with good meals and good company. The night is dark, the day has shown nuances of gray and wet. Must be summer but I heard “the times are changing”'.
