La Palma Fuerte aged for 10 years in bourbon barrels
The ‘Tres Hombres Ed. 023 La Palma Fuerte X Años’ rum was distilled by Ron Aldea in La Palma. Made directly from local sugar cane on the Canary Islands, it has aged for 10 years in the oldest bourbon barrels of the distillery.
In 2017 the rum was submitted to a second aging during the 7-month voyage of the Tres Hombres around the Atlantic ocean.
The aroma is fruity with the sweetness of flowers. The taste is typical to rum made from freshly pressed sugarcane, with notes of banana and vanilla.
This special blend from the Aldea distillery opens new tasting sensations to the connoisseur of the La Palma rums.
