Day and night, day and night, wind and sea, sun and clouds. A living universe, a beating heart in an almost endless sea.
We found a secret time loop, where you’re woken up with songs, and bananas grow in the rigging. In our world there is no war, and we grow young together. Our companions for the journey are playful dolphins and oh so stupid flying fish. They fly into the galley or crash into the sails and they are the bringers of laughter.
It’s been 12 days since our last port of call, La Palma, the island of volcanic madness. I took a bit of fire from there with me, and 500 avocados.
Half way west through the Atlantic Ocean, our days are filled with fixing up our ship, de-rusting and painting, wood work and other projects and lots of joy.
I’ve brewed a recipe for healthy happy life:
-don’t sleep too much
-dance every day
-let the wind blow on your bare skin
-laugh until your face hurts
See you on the other side
