2 January 2015 - Logbook Tres Hombres
For all a happy new year and best wishes for 2015. We are 8 days at sea and as the wind keeps blowing like this we will make it to Barbados in 12 days. We all celebrated the start of the new year at around 1800 while it was still light on deck. With a glass of rum punch in our hands we made a countdown from 10 to 0. We had some great food! Then the music started playing from our speakers and all had a dance on our cargo hatch till it became to dark.
ps. Know that the Tres Hombres is a dry ship at sea. But at special occasions the captain can decide to have a glass of rum.
And this toast is for the people back home that love us all dear.
