In Douarnenez we followed all the news concerning Nordlys. While we were loading barrels and preparing the ship for the ocean crossing, in Den Helder everybody was working hard on the Nordlys to get her in the water. Congratulations; she is from the slipway and floating again.
All the best to finish the last preparations for a fruitful cargo sailing this summer.
While you guys on Nordlys are sailing the cargo in the european waters, we, with the Tres Hombres will do another Caribbean roundtrip to bring some precious goods for the european market.
At the moment we do the last preparations and at the moment you are reading this we will be already at sea on our way to Madeira. The weather forecast looks good, so we will have a comfortable crossing of the Biscay.
We are enjoying our last croissants and French fromage here in the port of Douarnenez and saying goodbye our friends.
Ready to go back to sea.
