Tres Hombres ship has arrived in Douarnenez to unload 6 pallets oforganic english ale from Exeter Brewery, Brewery Tap. They will then be loading 12 barrels of biodynamic wine from Slow Food International wine maker Olivier Cousin.
Also aboard we have ‚Presidio‘ Slow Food Ark of Taste Klippfisk donated by Terje Inderhaug and contacts at the Bergen Fisheries Museum. In honour of the historical trade between Norway and Brittany we will be preparing a local dish of ‚Bretonne brandade de morue‘ for visitors to try.
Any slow food slow fish contacts in the area of Douarnenez and Quimper are very welcome to visit the ship and learn about the ‚Slow cargo‘ transport of ’slow food‘, ’slow wine‘ and ‚Slow beer‘!
Tastings will accompany the unloading and loading of the ship scheduled for this Saturday 8th November 2014.
