Sailing away from Brixham by Woody

Yesterday morning we left Brixham and set sail to the east with southwest wind.
Every one was doing their jobs when somebody said there was a white bird sitting on the topsail mast.
I looked closer and I saw it was a white pigeon. He was sailing with us for an half an hour.
I wanted to look if he was ok, when I looked closer he disappeared. We continued our jobs when the cook Giuseppe said there was another pigeon on the deck.
This time it was a beautiful gray pigeon. I think it was a pigeon they use for sport. I could see it at his rings. He looked very weak. We tried to give him some food and some water. He left his food behind but he accepted the water. He stayed almost five hours on board, when he was strong enough he flied away and he never came back.
