Last night we had a pair of 2
The worm front and the cold front of a low pressure
Pass on us within few hours
Nice drawing on the barograph
Good training for the deck hand as well
According to the weather books
We get first constant rain then heavy shower
Personally, i didn’t appreciate the difference
Tons of water falling from the sky
Then thunder and lightning join the party
A wonderful sound and light show
Unfortunately Miss Nature always win the game
She took us our main sail in the pot
Our brave main sail who cross the Atlantic so many time
Who carry so many tons of cargo in between America and Europe
It was a Brigantine, giving is name to the so special and efficient rig of Tres Hombres
Now it’s just a Spanker
Still usable at the second reef
We was under first reef since the afternoon, when the wind pick up to 7 beaufort
sailing half wind at 9 knots
Now it’s time for a big sawing party
Everybody going well on board, even if we are wet and cold
Now sailing down wind, rolling under a grey sky
All square sails up
Nothing will stop us
We are sail traders
