Yesterday we departed for our 6th Atlantic circumnavigation from our home port Den Helder Netherlands! We said goodbye with hugs, kisses and some tears to the people on the shore of Willemoord. With the great help of 30 craftsman and volunteers from all wind corners of this planet, one month of refit finished with casting of the lines of the dock and again setting sails to new horizons! I think we have an amazing fairtransport family and growing each and every day. You can call it a subculture if you want. I think people are seeking adventure, exploring their boundries and meeting other amazing spirits. Thank you all for being part of our shared dream. The world needs more people like you. For sure there are some more out there!
Back at sea with 8 crew and trainees, yes the North Sea sailing down wind catching fish with the sun in the South we are heading for Stavanger Norway our another storm. As long there is good food and wind we can sail! Yes, some are seasick, but that will pass after some days when you getting your sealegs.
I am happy to be back at sea, feeling one with nature!
ps. please stay tuned for more weblogs of our adventures at sea and ports
